I have been an artist my entire life, and flowers have always held a special place in my work. Without flowers, the human race would not exist. They sustain our world, nourish our lives, and remind us of the extraordinary beauty and capacity for growth that surrounds us. To me, sharing floral art is another way of sharing flowers with the world: a gift of beauty that can be kept, cherished, and revisited every day.

As an ink-only sketch artist, I draw what is in sight, capturing the flowers and botanical details I encounter while traveling and sketching throughout the world. Each piece begins with the living world before me, preserving a moment, a place, and the particular beauty of what I have witnessed.

About This Sketch

This sketch is a part of a collection I did while in my aunt’s garden in Baumholder, Germany. She has the most beautiful garden, full of lovely wild flowers of every variety.

Every print includes the location details of where the original sketch originated, handwritten on the back as a sign of authenticity, and is individually signed by me, the artist on the front and the back.
